It is hygroscopic, amorphous and non-ionic. It is miscible with various organic solvents such as water, alcohol, ether and chloroform. It has a constant pH value and can form transparent films. Approximately 1.5 million tons are produced annually.<\/p>\n<p>PVP K-30 (POLIVINYLPYROLIDONE) is used in many fields in industry and daily life. PVP K-30 (POLIVINYLPYROLIDONE) is polymerized or esterified to produce various PVP derivatives. Some inhibitors are also used in this method.<\/li>\n<li>Ionic polymerization method: This is an alternative production method of PVP K-30 (POLIVINYLPYROLIDONE). N-vinylpyrrolidone monomer is converted into PVP K-30 (POLIVINYLPYROLIDONE) polymer by an ionic polymerization reaction initiated with an ionic initiator. This method allows to produce polymers at lower temperature and higher molecular weight.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Areas of use of PVP K-30 (POLIVINYLPYROLIDONE) include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Glass industry: PVP K-30 (POLIVINYLPYROLIDONE) is also used in the glass industry.
